Our Ministries
Ministries
Music Ministry
Our mission statement as a worship team is: To offer excellent worship within the confines and dictates of God-going deep into Gods word for sufficient guidance in order to transform others through our lifestyle of worship.
We desire worship that bring others into the very presence of the Lord, thereby allowing a profound opportunity for the Holy Spirit to touch souls, heal hearts, break chains of bondage and ignite a passion for Jesus and the work of His Kingdom.
SWAP Ministry
In full we refer this ministry as Soldiers With Added Power. It is ministry for the youths as whole.A ministry that makes a difference in its own capacity.SWAP ministry is vital to helping youths integrate into the larger, intergenerational community of the church.SWAP ministry resists the status quo, helping the church stay relevant.SWAP ministry focuses on inviting those who are not already part of the church into the deeper narrative of God’s plan.
SWAPs ministry reminds the church that youths are not marginalized members of the body, but co-creators and conspirators in the divine work of the church. It is a ministry that helps the church focus on the way of Jesus, which goes beyond tradition, dogma, and work.
Events and programs in Grace chapel international are designed for youth to experience opportunities in Evangelism, Spiritual Formation, Christian Leadership, Mission, Fellowship, Scripture and the Unity of the Church.
Intercessory Ministry
Is the ministry given the mandate to midwife the prayer ministry of the church and to facilitate different occasions of the prayer calendar every spiritual year.
The leadership is composed of Ivy Clara, Clause Kihima and Semion Atetwe.
Our Tag line is that…
“Men ought Always to Pray and not to Faint…”
Luke 18:1
Masters Student Ministry
This is a ministry that was birthed a year ago here in church that is in 2022.It is a form of a care group among the masters students. It was realised that most of them do undergo issues that pin them down to a point that someone reaches to that point of enough is enough!! This is because others might feel as if life is not fair with them.
In grace chapel international chuka the masters students were encouraged to atleast have a care group to help them in all aspects of life.
This ministry is one of the most critical one and it needs to be handled with a lot of care.
Media Ministry
A church’s media ministry is a crucial component. Regardless of the size or demographics of the church, using media and technology effectively is crucial for sharing the gospel in a compelling manner.
The Media Ministry supports the church by taking care of its technological requirements during services and special events. Teams that take care of video, audio, or PowerPoint presentations, livestreaming, and social media outreach have people serve on a rotating basis each Sunday.
Philippians 2:1–11 speaks about serving the body of Christ as Christ served the body and being like-minded, one in spirit, and serving one another. Although what we do in the media ministry is heard and seen on a local as well as a worldwide level, we are committed to the fulfillment of this scripture by working behind the scenes without acknowledgment or fanfare so that the gospel, and not ourselves, is plainly preached.
Hospitality Ministry
The Hospitality Ministry plays a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of the congregants on Sunday and Wednesday Services. Apart from preparing and serving tea and bread, the team also takes charge of the visitors’ table, providing a warm welcome to first-time visitors. The ministry requires a significant level of dedication and commitment from its members, as we strive to meet the needs and expectations of everyone in the congregation. By doing so, we create a welcoming and hospitable environment that fosters a sense of family and belonging amongst the congregants.
Pillars Ministry
If you are a man, then Pillars is the place to be. This is the avenue for growth as a man in all aspects; spiritually, socially, role in the society, financially, leadership and many more. This ministry involves the adult men in church. Its’ mission is to develop empowered and all rounded men ready to tackle the world with all it takes.
In here we meet, we share, fellowship, encourage each other, rebuke, correct and many more all in effort to grow ourselves into better men in the society and church. As the name suggests we are the pillars of the church and the society. Just like David asks his son Solomon to act like a man, that’s what we endeavour to be and our mission is to grow the pillar of the society, that’s a man.
